2020 Vitality London 10,000 – important update

We hope all is well with you.
Since the 2020 Vitality London 10,000 was postponed in March, we’ve been working hard on a range of options. However, sadly the recent surges in Covid-19 since lockdown was eased mean it’s not possible to stage the run in its usual format this year.
But you will still have the chance to take part in the event! We’ve created a virtual Vitality London 10,000 so that you can run your 10k from home or wherever you are during the October half-term period (24 October to 1 November 2020). It’s a great way to set yourself a challenge, have some fun and get active while enjoying the physical and mental health benefits of running.
Our ‘Celebrate You’ theme will focus on the many health benefits of getting active. It’s a chance to run for your head and your heart and a chance for us to celebrate our amazing participants.
We’ll be providing plenty of encouragement to help you achieve your goals, including comprehensive training advice and we’ll send you your runner number to wear on the day you complete your 10k.
All you have to do is run – or walk, or jog! – your 10k on a route of your choice, record your time and log it with us so we can send you your finisher medal and exclusive New Balance finisher T-shirt.
The Vitality London 10,000 will be back in 2021 and we’ll be in touch on 27 August to ask you if you would like to take part in the virtual event, to rollover your entry to 2021 or if you would prefer a refund of the entry fee you paid.
If your place was provided by a charity, sponsor, community group or company, you’ll need to contact them to discuss your options.
