What is the minimum age of entry?
Entrants must be at least 15 years old on the day of the event. Please note that anyone under the age of 18 on event day will need to be accompanied by an adult.
How much does it cost to enter the Vitality London 10,000?
Entry costs £39 (with a £2 discount for British Athletics registered running club members). All finishers will receive the 2022 Vitality London 10,000 souvenir medal and New Balance technical T-shirt (worth £35).

When is the virtual Vitality London 10,000 taking place?
The event period for the virtual Vitality London 10,000 is between 00:00 on Saturday 30 April and 23:59 on Sunday 8 May 2022. You can run (or walk, or jog!) your 10K at any time, from wherever you like, during this period.
How much does it cost to enter the virtual Vitality London 10,000?
The entry fee is £19 for participants who live in the UK – this includes the original finisher’s medal and New Balance performance finisher’s T-shirt (retail value £35). If you live outside the UK the entry fee is £29, which includes an extra £10 to cover packing and overseas postage of your medal and T-shirt.
How old do you have to be to enter the virtual event?
You’ll need to be aged 15 or over on the day that you decide to take part in order to enter the virtual Vitality London 10,000.
Will I receive a medal and finisher T-shirt after completing the virtual event?
Yes, if you uploaded evidence that you had completed your 10K you will be sent the original Vitality London 10,000 finisher medal and New Balance performance finisher T-shirt (retail value £35) within two weeks.
Do I need to download an app to take part in the virtual Vitality London 10,000?
No, there is no app for the virtual Vitality London 10,000.
Will I receive a running number to wear when I do my virtual Vitality London 10,000?
Yes, we want our virtual entrants to have the same experience as participants in the mass event, so we will send official running numbers in the post in the run-up to the virtual Vitality London 10,000. It isn’t mandatory to wear this, but will enhance your event!
Will there be virtual event Final Instructions?
Yes, we will email all participants in the run-up to the event to tell them everything they need to know.
How will I prove I’ve completed my virtual 10K?
You will be able to upload evidence to our registration system after you have completed your 10K. It will be a simple process and we’ll email you full details in the run-up to the event.
Can I take part in both the virtual Vitality London 10,000 and the central London event?
It is possible to enter both events. However, please note that this would mean you would receive the same finisher’s medal and T-shirt twice.
Can I run the virtual Vitality London 10,000 on a treadmill?
Yes, you can complete the virtual Vitality London 10,000 on a treadmill.
My entry
My friend/family member has a place in the Vitality London 10,000 but is unable to run; can I run using their entry?
No. You may not transfer places in the Vitality London 10,000 under any circumstances (see General Conditions of Entry)...
Do I need to have had a Covid-19 vaccination to take part?
No, this is not required currently.
I am ill, injured or unable to run – what do I do?
If you are ill or injured we advise you NOT to take part.
Am I entitled to a refund if I am not able to take part in the Vitality London 10,000?
Participants who decide not to take part are not entitled to a refund, as per the General Conditions of Entry. However, if the event is cancelled or postponed for any reason you will be offered a refund of the entry fee you paid.
Can I change my start wave/time to be with a friend or family member?
You are permitted to move back to a later wave, but unfortunately you will not be able to move forward to an earlier wave.
